Screening interview
A short 15-minute phone call with our HR team to get to know you.
Chat with the founders
A more in-depth, 30-45 minute, video chat with one of our founders or senior leaders.
Skill assessment
Depending on the role, you’ll receive a take-home skills assessment or participate in a situational interview with a senior leader.
Final interview
We’ll conduct a final interview where we’ll discuss assignment results, team dynamics, and overall alignment with company values.

How do I apply for a job at Vanilla Steel?
Submit your resume and any other additional documents to an open role. Our recruitment team carefully reviews each application and will reach out if your experience aligns with our needs.
How long will it take until I hear back?
If we’re actively looking for a new employee, usually 1 to 2 weeks. Spontaneous applications are checked regularly, but it may take longer. If we need more time or have questions, we’ll reach out to you.
Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes! We encourage applying for more than one position, especially if you feel more than one role aligns with your skills and experience.
Will the interview be conducted remotely or on-site?
The first three stages of the interview process will take place online. The final interview is in person at our office. If meeting in person isn’t possible, we’re happy to explore alternative arrangements.
